"Urlaub für Kontrapunkt" (holidays for counterpoint) 

This video-copy of a movie of 1958 was presented on occasion of the 2nd Bremer Hochschulorgelwoche on October 22, 2007, in honour of the 100. birthday of Rudolf von Beckerath. The copy came from USA and seems to be the last remaining one. The film of 22 minutes presents the history, the construction, the manufacturing and intonation of organs. Background is a trip of the American organist and professor Arthur Carkeek (De Pauw-university, Greencastle, Indiana, USA) to Germany and a meeting with Rudolf vopn Beckerath in Hamburg. Furthermore you can see the French organist Charles Letestu as far as Rudolf von Beckerath himself who was also consultant to the movie maker. The film was produced by Nord-Süd Film Dr. Werner Lütje.
